Laminates are either calibrated to Thickness with our sanding machines or roughened for later production steps. The tolerances during calibration are in the range of +/-0.005mm. The requirements for high-pressure Laminates HPL and continuous Pressure Laminate CPL are the same. With CPL, however, there is the additional requirement that the sanding machine must run absolutely synchronously with the upstream laminate press, as these are non - flexible endless workpieces.
