Return & Cancellation Policy (Tradebird Shopping)
Indian TradeBird is a digital marketplace that facilitates connections between buyers and sellers for the exchange of goods and services. As a neutral platform, Indian TradeBird does not participate in negotiations, transactions, or agreements between users. We do not guarantee the quality, legality, availability, or performance of products or services listed, nor do we assume responsibility for the completion of any sale or purchase.
All commercial arrangements including pricing, delivery schedules, warranties, and after sales services — are independently agreed upon between buyers and sellers and must be explicitly stated on the respective product listing page before a buyer places an order.
Refund and cancellation eligibility is determined by the seller's terms as displayed on the product page. Where a seller has not specified refund or cancellation terms on their product listing, Indian TradeBird's default platform policy will automatically apply, ensuring every buyer has a clear fallback.
Indian TradeBird does not process refunds or cancellations directly on behalf of sellers. However, the platform provides a structured framework for dispute resolution and return coordination, guaranteeing a fair and transparent process for both buyers and sellers. Buyers are encouraged to review the seller's terms on the product page before completing a purchase.
Buyer Protection & Return Guidelines
Buyers may request a return if the product is:
*Damaged or defective upon delivery
*Incorrect or not as described
*Missing essential components
*Return requests must be initiated within the applicable return window for the product, typically within
30 days of delivery.
To initiate a return, buyers must contact our support team via Registered Mobile Number or "Submit Ticket" with order details and reason for return.
Sellers may choose one of the following resolution options: :
*Replace after shipment collection
* Refund after shipment collection
* Refund without shipment collection
* Replace without shipment collection
If the seller accepts the return:
*The buyer must return the product as instructed.
* Refunds will be processed to the original payment method upon confirmation of return.
If the seller does not respond within 30 days of the return request:
* The refund will be processed in favor of the buyer.
Return shipping costs:
* Typically borne by the seller if the return is due to product defect, damage, or listing error.
Cancellation Policy
Buyer-initiated cancellation: Buyers may cancel an order at any time before the order has been dispatched by the seller. To request a cancellation, buyers should contact our support team with their order reference number via the "Submit Ticket" option or registered mobile number. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible; however, buyers may initiate a return under our Return & Refund Policy.
Platform-initiated cancellation: Indian TradeBird reserves the right to cancel an order in the following specific circumstances:
- The seller is unable to fulfill the order within the committed timeframe
- The product is found to be unavailable or out of stock after order placement
- The order is identified as fraudulent or in violation of our platform policies
- Regulatory or legal requirements prevent fulfillment
In all such cases, the buyer will be notified within 24-48 hours of the cancellation decision, and a full refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 working days.
Indian TradeBird will not cancel orders arbitrarily. Any platform-initiated cancellation will be communicated transparently with the reason provided to the buyer.
Dispute Resolution
* If a seller declines a return request, buyers may escalate the issue by filing a dispute through our support system.
* Indian TradeBird encourages both parties to resolve disputes amicably and reserves the right to mediate when necessary.
Refund Policy
Refunds are processed based on the original payment method:
Prepaid Orders
* Refunds will be issued via a secure payment gateway or RBI-approved electronic banking method.
* The amount will be credited to the same account used for the original transaction.
EMI Transactions
* Interest charged by the bank is non-refundable.
* Indian TradeBird does not charge processing fees for EMI options, but bank-imposed interest will not be reimbursed.
Cash on Delivery (COD)
* Refunds will be issued via NEFT transfer to the buyer's bank account.
* Buyers must provide accurate bank details:
o Bank Name
o Account Number
o Account Holder's Name
o IFSC Code
Indian TradeBird is not liable for delays or failures due to incorrect bank information provided by the customer.
Refund Timeline
* Refunds typically reflect in the customer's account within 7 10 working days from the date of initiation.
Important Notes
* Buyers are advised to carefully review product listings before placing orders.
* Returns due to buyer error (e.g., ordering the wrong item) may not be eligible for refund unless accepted by the seller.
* All returns and cancellations are subject to seller policies, which may vary by product.
* Indian TradeBird reserves the right to update this policy at any time without prior notice.
