Tyre curing is the process of transforming a green tyre, which has all of its components but no tread or form, into a ready-to-mould tyre. The green tyre is placed in a tyre press, which inflates the internal tyre bladder, causing the green tyre to push against the mould. The combination of pressure against the mould and strong heat leads the rubber to conform to the mould, resulting in the tread and sidewall lettering.
