Bionova® MiniBio Auto-reader has been designed for the incubation and automatic readout of Terragene® Rapid, Super Rapid and Ultra Rapid Self-contained biological indicator (SCBIs) appropriate for sterilization and environmental disinfection process control applications. The MiniBio Auto-Reader incubates vials containing endospores specific to certain sterilization processes. It then measures the indicators to determine if the microorganisms were killed off. The MiniBio Auto-Reader can incubate up to three indicators simultaneously at different incubation times but the same temperature. It has a built-in thermal printer to record the results. The MiniBio Auto-Reader has a compact design, a user-friendly interface, and a USB connection for registering results on a PC. The MiniBio Auto-Reader can be used in both gravity and pre/post vacuum sterilizers.
