High Flow Oxygen Therapy Delivery System acts as an alternate replacement to ventilator, thereby providing high flow oxygen therapy, invasive mechanical ventilation, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and circulatory support, which is required for treatment of Covid-19 pneumonia. The warm, humidified constant flow improves the gas exchange and reduces work of breathing. HFT-1 is used in acute respiratory failure and / or chronic conditions, such as COPB, bronchiectasis, end-stage cancer and do not-intubate patients. It is commonly used on patients in ICU or high dependency wards, with acute respiratory failure (ie, hypoxemic respiratory failure), requiring assistance with respiration to stabilize breathing and control blood gases.
