Citric Acid Mono is a colorless crystalline organic compound belong to carbolic acid family used in food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and medicine industries as well as in plastic industry; nutrient or food additives having functions of acidity regulator, sequestering and stabilizing agent, antioxidants synergism, firming agent. It maintains the stability of active ingredients and is used as a preservative. It is also used as an acidulant to control pH.
