Thermosyphon filter is an ON LINE Transformer Oil Preservation system for Power Transformers ..The system basically consist of a container containing Adsorbant (Normally Activated alumina) which has very high moisture absorbtion capacity. While transformer oil circulates through this the adsorbant takes away moisture from the oil. The moisture content in transformer oil can be maintained to a level of les than 10 ppm.
