When the CT ratio is low and Inside Dia of CT required is large it poses technical limitations to design such CTs in Bar primary design meeting specified parameters. Such is normally the case with low MVA and High voltage Transformer Neutral end CTs. For such application we have developed wound primary CTs covering up 36 KV Class. Thee can be used on neutral end of 132 or 220 KV neutral end. An earth shield between secondary and primary windings is provided to prevent damage to secondary windings and the connected instruments in case of any fault coming on Primary i.e high voltage end. These can be in single core or multi core as per clients requirement.
