Helium leak testing is the fastest and most cost effective method for identifying condenser tube  bank within a few minutes of entering the water box. Leakage in the tube sheet is also easily identified. Re-testing after plugging or other repairs performed can be accomplished immediately. Knowledge about the gauge diameter and tube material is important to prepare the tubes and plugs to be used during esting.
