The primary purpose of a batch off machine is to chill and store rubber sheets. The rubber sheet will then be delivered to the next procedure after cooling. For varied requirements, the batch off machine's cooling method can be fan cooling, water cooling, or air cooling.
Main function of the machine is to cool rubber strip coming either from two-roll mill or from roller-die calender and stacking of cooled rubber sheet on pallet. Rubber sheet comes into the batch-off unit entry (soaking bath), where separation solution is supplied, then is chilled in cooling tunnel, grasped by gripping equipment and pulled on the feeding conveyor. The feeding conveyor transports cooled rubber sheets from cutting to stacking machinery. The cooled rubber sheet is stacked in wig-wag stacking or by plates on the palette. A full palette is replaced by an empty one once the desired weight or height of stacked rubber sheets is obtained.
