What are the 3 types of packaging? Generally there are three types of packaging generally, Primary Packaging in which materials are directly packed into the required box or pouches. Secondary Packaging, in this type of packaging bulk amount of products, is packed and stocked together keeping as a single packaging to be transported ant any required place. Then there is Tertiary Packaging, which is also referred to as transit packaging where a larger group of stocked packages from secondary packagings is piled up for storage purposes for bigger delivery.
How does a pouch packing machine work? The working process of the pouch packaging machine is by the following steps, First, it goes to the Bag Loading stage where packaging bags are loaded manually which are conveyed to the bag feeding roller.
Then in the Bag Gripping stage, with proximity sensor bag detection is done where the bag is loaded and picking up pouch transferring it to the set of grippers which holds the bag when it travels around for packaging.
Then in the next stage of Printing Embossing, Here printing or embossing of any details like dates, product details, and other such things are done before it goes ahead.
Then comes the next stage Zipping or Bag Opening & Detection, here bags are detected with sensors if bags are not found then the filling machine stops automatically and then later it checks for bags for the filling process ahead.
Next comes Bag Filling where the product to be filed is dropped and the filling process is continued. where the process of Second Liquid Seal/Second Filling Station/Load Shelf where packaging is done as per the product being liquid-solid or gas materials and ensured that it has proper finishing gripping.
Later comes Pouch Sealing & Deflation where remaining air is squeezed out and packaging is done here using heat and pressure to bond them together with a stronger seam.
The final stage of packaging is Cooling & Discharge, where cooling bars are passed via seal to strengthen and flatten it. Then these finished packages are passed via machines like weight checkers, x-ray machines, etc for a final check of the products.
