Material Selection Considerations

  • Structural Steel (e.g., MS Rectangular/Square Pipes): For the base frame and sometimes wall/roof framing, providing structural integrity and lifting points. Often powder-coated or painted for corrosion resistance.
  • Sandwich Panels: Most common. Two outer skins (e.g., pre-painted galvanized iron/steel, aluminum, FRP) with an insulating core (e.g., PU foam, EPS, rock wool). Chosen for insulation, lightweight, and weather resistance.
  • Plywood/Cement Board/Fiber Cement Board: For internal wall and floor lining, often with vinyl or laminate flooring.
  • Exterior Cladding: Pre-painted galvanized steel (PPGI), aluminum composite panels (ACP), or corrugated steel sheets for weather protection and aesthetics.
  • Insulation Material: Polyurethane (PU) foam, Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), Mineral Wool, Rock Wool, or Glass Wool for thermal and acoustic insulation.
  • Windows & Doors: Aluminum or UPVC frames with single or double-glazed glass. Steel doors for security.
  • Internal Finishes: PVC panels, laminated boards, gypsum boards, or painted surfaces for interior walls.
  • Roofing: Corrugated steel sheets, often with a slope for drainage, or integrated with sandwich panels.
