CONSISTS OF:

  1.  Black Body made of circular aluminium plate with the surface black anodized, ,mounted on asbestos cement sheet.
  2. Greybody or test plate made of circular aluminium plate of same size as the black body with polished surface, mounted on asbestos cement sheet Diameter : 200 mm
  3. Enclosure: The sides of the enclosure are made up of transparent sheets for better visibility and with lid on the top surface for exhausting the hot air after experiment is over. He bottom is fitted on asbestos sheet to prevent heat loss
  4. Heaters to heat the black body and he gray body to identical temperature.
  5. Voltmeter and Ammeter provided to measure input power to the heaters.
  6. Thermocouples to measure surface temperatures of black body (T1), test plate (T2) and the enclosure surface(T3)
  7. Channel selector and Digital temperature display.
  8. Heat control or regulator to vary input power to the heater
  9. Control panel to switch on/ off the console and the heater.
