X-ray Spectrometry for Alloy Analysis ( PMI Test)
This method provides quantitative analysis for 21 of the common alloying elements in a full range of Fe, Ni, Co, Cu and Al based alloys in any size or shape of material. This unit is used mainly at site for Positive Material Identification ( PMI Test) on finished component. It is a completely non-destructive method of chemical analysis. The test is performed on (NITONE Instrument Model XL2 800) , other equivalent instruments which works on XRF principle
