Principle Of Infrared Rays. The rays of 0.4 pm to 0.7 pm are the light spectrum which is a color spectrum visible to the human eyes. Less than 0.4 pm are the Ultra violet Rays.
Unlike Ultra violet Rays which are harmful to human body & eyes on direct exposure, Infrared rays are absolutely safe on these fronts.
Economic heating & drying is a high degree of efficiency in the transmission of energy from the infrared sources to the object. A high degree of efficiency is dependent on the emission power and "appropriate" wavelength of the emitted infrared radiation.
Light with wavelength from 0.7 m to about 10 m is called Infrared Rays. The band of infrared Rays is thousand times wider than visible light. Medium to long range wavelengths of the infrared Rays ranging from 3 m to 10 m are absorbed properly by almost all materials to give economic heating & drying.
