Special Features:

  • Bed is made from 25 Grade Cast Iron of 180 BHN hardness, strictly inspected with Micro-level, hardness tester and straight edge
  • Boring of Head Stock is done on WMW boring machine
  • Fitted with induction hardened and ground Spindle of threaded made from alloy steel. Spindle has external and internal grinding
  • Double Screw Apron is totally enclosed oil bath system with lever type arrangement for automatic feeds and fitted with gear made from alloy steel
  • All the gear in Head Stroke are made from En-8 and with high range of speed. (Nitriding gear)
  • Hardened bed up to 400 BHN

Double Screw Norton Gear Box:

  • Provided as time Saver equipment with separate thread & feed shaft. Thus, feed & thread gears could be changed rapidly and decreases the wear and tear of half nut and lead screw
  • Instruction Manual as per Indian Standard IS-1878 (part-1) 1993
